YFS always regards theory and practice as essential approaches to explore design ideals. Through the continuous extension of time and space, these approaches diverge and intertwine, leading to countless possibilities. YFS strives to transcend the conventional boundaries of the design industry, adopting a total-work-of-art perspective to focus on urban development and renewal, as well as the revitalization and transformation of rural areas. Architecture design, urban planning, landscape design, interior design, and product design are all tools employed by YFS.
Established by Yifan ZHANG in Shanghai, the key members of YFS have pursued advanced studies in renowned architectural institutions in Europe and previously worked in several prominent design firms. The partners of YFS currently serve as educators at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Tongji University.
YFS易建筑工作室，始终将理论与实践同时作为探讨设计理想的关键途径，在时间与空间的绵延中，途径不断分叉、交织，通向无数的可能性。易建筑力求跨越传统设计行业中的专业界线，用整体艺术的视角，关注城市的发展与更新、研究乡村的振兴与转变。建筑设计、城市规划、景观设计、室内设计、产品设计等都是易建筑的使用工具。
YFS易建筑工作室位于上海，由张益凡创立。团队核心成员均从欧洲著名建筑院校深造归国，曾任职于国内多家明星设计师事务所，并现任教于上海交通大学及同济大学。
